Varicose Treatment at Medilas Beauty and Skin Clinic, Alanya
Genetic tendency, standing up for long time, births, excess weight may result in varicose problem in older ages. Non-surgical varicose treatment is performed in two methods, injection method referred as sclerotherapy and laser treatment. Laser treatment is application of light in high temperatures on vein for a short term (0.3 sec). It passes through skin without affecting it, reaches to darker color (red, purple) vein and heats it, deteriorating the exterior tissue, blood inside the vein congeals and clogs and destroys that capillary vein. Clogged and damaged vein is absorbed by body and destroyed, leaving normal skin behind. Treatment is applied as sessions on monthly basis or every 15 days and generally takes 2-3 sessions or more in some cases. Sessions take 10-30 minutes. Sclerotherapy is injection of a substance that shrinks veins through capillaries into larger veins to destroy the vein.
Treated varicose is gone for permanently but veins in that region or other areas may enlarge in time, this can be exampled as the fact that pulling one tooth will not eliminate decaying of other teeth.

• It does not require bed rest, individual may continue working throughout treatment
• It does not leave any marks (marks cane be a problem specifically for women wearing skirt)
• It can be applied to all areas including face.
